You really
showed us a side of New Zealand-as a local-that we wouldn't have had as
tourists!
Our trip
to New Zealand was the most unexpected fabulous trip that I have ever
been on! I truly thought I'd be hanging out doing a lot of book reading
while Brian was off hunting.
I think
that I'm the one who had the most fun! You truly
filled my week. Starting the week off with
- the
wine and food tasting festival in Clyde (with fun coffee and shopping
spots on the way) was something I would have never found on my own!
- The
most amazing part of our exciting week was going flying! I never
realized what a fabulous view you could get without being SO high. I
must have taken 400 photos from the air! The views were so gorgeous
and changing every 5 seconds!
- It was
very relaxing in our lodgings and really feeling at home!
We loved meeting the other guests, enjoying your girls AND having your
wonderful chef Sue cooking for us every night!!
- It was
great going into little local craft stores, coffee stops and just
hanging out with you in general!
- Even
when the week was over, you set us on the right direction by giving us
the best recommendations of what not to miss and where to stay.
- The
extra three days of our trip were spectacular. Doubtful Sound was
phenomenal, as were the Glowworm caves. Our time in the Catlins was
incredible as we got to see yellow-eyed penguins and sea lions in the
wild!
- I
would recommend to anyone spending one night at Larnach Castle (stay
in the "stables") and definitely have dinner in the
main house. What a way to finish off the trip.
- We
loved the Bed and Breakfasts that you found for us!
We truly
look forward to coming back and hope to see you even sooner in the
States.
