HUNTING EQUIPMENT AND CLOTHING

"WHAT TO BRING"

CLOTHING:

  • Waterproof coat - Gore-Tex or Entrant shells are ideal.
  • Polar or Micro-fleece top.
  • Polyprop singlet or Micro-fleece T-shirt.
  • Shorts and Polyprop long johns.
  • Dri-back" fleece trousers - "Please no jeans."
  • Snow gaiters
  • Socks - Polyprop/Woollen and "Comfortable."
  • Strong, Comfortable boots - "spare laces."
  • Hat, woollen gloves, scarf.
  • Complete changes of dry, comfortable, warm clothing
  • Dry footwear
  • Personal items
  • Binoculars
  • Camera

RIFLES:

  • You are most welcome to bring along your favourite rifle.
  • Please make your Calibre not less than .25.
  • A rifle can be supplied to you for the hunting duration.

  • Gerald has taken on the challenge of bow hunting with his Hoyt bow.
  • We welcome guided bow hunting.
  • References supplied upon request.
  • Aim to shoot up to 50 yards (45 meters) with your bow.
